The Wheeling Prospect Heights Chamber of Commerce & Industry (WPHCCI) Board of Directors is pleased to announce Neena Pottoore as the new Executive Director for the organization. Pottoore brings over ten years of previous chamber experience along with member relations, marketing and business development skills.
Before joining WPHCCI, Pottoore was the Member Services and Special Events Manager at the Glenview Chamber of Commerce in Glenview, Illinois.
“Based upon the impact and extensive programs that we are planning, we needed an executive director that could hit the ground running,” said Mike Looby, current WPH President and search committee member. “The board is confident that Neena will be able to do just that.”
Pottoore is originally from Michigan and relocated to Illinois three years ago. In Michigan, she also served as a Director of Member Services for Troy Chamber of Commerce, and Events Manager with Asian Pacific American Chamber of Commerce. Pottoore is committed to growing the Wheeling Prospect Heights Chamber membership.
“I will strengthen the value-added services that we provide to our members,” said Pottoore. “Through effective communication, networking, and advocacy, we will grow our membership and expand the role local businesses play in the prosperity of Wheeling and Prospect Heights.”
The Board of Directors invites the business community to it’s Quarterly Member Luncheon on March 10 at Buca di Beppo to meet Pottoore. Tickets are $35 for members and $45 for non-members. Please RSVP by March 9, at the WPH Chamber Office (847) 541-0179 or by email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
